Flutie and Stu are not our birth names, of course. But they are the actual names one of each of our parents wanted to bestow on us, had the other parent not intervened!

Most of the week we are busy with work, kids, school, laundry. But come the weekend, we like to get up off the couch and get out!

We begin by googling where to go, what to see, where to drink…the vitals! Inevitably, though, reality strikes.  Upon following advice geared for the pert, optimistic, and not-yet-incontinent, we find ourselves inching back to the car on wobbly knees, swearing loudly, overcome with the need for a tipple and loo.

What follows arises from our searching, nay – yearning! – for kindred spirits honest enough to tell it like it really is.
